What AI chart analysis is good for

A clear screenshot can help you name structure, levels, and invalidation faster — especially when you’re tired or the chart is noisy.

It is not a buy/sell button. Treat output as prep for your playbook: scenarios, risk framing, and what would make the idea wrong.

How to capture a usable chart screenshot

Include symbol, timeframe, and a readable price axis.

Show the swing structure that matters — don’t crop away the level you’re debating.

Hide unrelated indicators clutter if they obscure candles and marked levels.

One primary timeframe per upload unless your plan explicitly uses multi-chart context.

A simple prompt pattern

State your bias in one line (or say you have none).

Ask for structure, key levels, invalidation, and WAIT conditions.

Ask what would confirm continuation vs reversal — not “should I buy.”

Save the useful bits into Pre-flight / journal fields before sizing.

Common failure modes

Blurry phone photos, cropped axes, and charts with 12 indicators.

Treating model confidence as edge. Models can be wrong with clean language.

Skipping invalidation because the write-up sounded bullish.
