Beyond Binance & Bybit: beta exchange sync into the journal
How live Binance/Bybit sync and CCXT beta venues differ, what read-only still means, and how imported fills show up as verified journal trades.

Two paths, one rule
Binance and Bybit use the classic live sync. Kraken, Coinbase, OKX, Bitget, Bitvavo, and KuCoin connect through the CCXT beta path under Settings → Exchanges.
Both paths require read-only keys. If a key can trade or withdraw, it should be rejected. Secrets stay encrypted server-side.
Fills become journal rows
After sync, TradaxLab pairs executions into verified trades where it can, and leaves unmatched lots tagged so you can finish the story with setup and notes.
Filter the journal by Manual, Verified, or exchange once those sources exist — Binance and Bybit chips only appear when connected or when you already have synced trades.
Beta means honest expectations
Venue APIs differ: some need symbol-scoped history, pagination, or passphrases. If a beta sync is thin, keep logging manually and treat the connection as an assist — not the only source of truth yet.
